Post Vacation Post

Well, back from my trip to Kentucky. Stayed near the town of Barbourville, in the southeast part of the state.

Arrived about 2AM Wednesday morning. Spend part of Wednesday going to Cumberland Falls. It is the second tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi River ... after Niagara Falls. Very nice spot and well worth a visit. (Went back there again on Friday with a couple other people). Spent the rest of the day driving around the local area enjoying the nice scenery and twisting-turning roads!

Thursday headed to the center part of the state, to visit Mammoth Cave National Park. They offer several tours of the caves. We took the Frozen Niagara Tour. Enjoyed that quite a bit.

After three days up there, headed back south on Saturday. A nice little trip ... and nice change of scenery.
