Happy 4th!
OK ... so I'm a few days late! Hope everyone had a great Holiday. Was sort of a quiet weekend here ... no BBQ or house full of people! Did go to watch the Fireworks on Siesta Beach Monday night. They were OK ... seemed to me, they were better last year.
After a couple weeks off from Bowling (2 of our team mates were on vacation), we're back at it tonight. Since we haven't been in a couple weeks, we dropped from First Place ... but we'll make up the games we missed, and see if we can make it back to ... or near, the top! Sure feels good ... and more fun than being stuck near the bottom, like the last couple years! I guess we've figured out the strategy.
I see we got another example of how much safer the world is today, with what seems like a coordinated terror attack in London - a day after being awarded the 2012 Olympics. Meanwhile, back here at home, several major cities are ramping up their security efforts, just in case. Yep ... I feel a lot safer.
